Silent Training

Saturday, February 14, at 9 PM Eastern, in the Dog Den
Beth Moody has been training dogs, including deaf dogs, for many years. Many deaf dogs entering rescue would become happy family members after her work with them. She has trained her own deaf Boxer, Echo, to be her service dog; Echo knows over 40 signs. Come learn about "Silent Training," a training technique developed by a long time trainer of deaf dogs. And silent training is not for deaf dogs only!

Services

CLASSES: Classes forming now for Lansing, Troy and Grand Rapids.  These classes fill quickly so don't wait.

PRIVATE LESSONS: One on one work in your home, starting at $50 per hour.  Contact us for an exact quote depending on your specific needs.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT DOG: We offer a service to prospective owners to help them not only choose the best breeds for their specific needs, but also to help choose the right puppy from a litter or adult dog from a shelter or rescue.

Choosing the wrong dog can be a disaster and can make everyone in the household unhappy. It is one of the main reasons owners surrender their dogs to shelters or rescue groups.

If more owners would research breeds for the appropriate match, shelters would not be as full as they are. The wanted section would not be full of "free to a good home" ads and people would have a "happy ever after" match with the dog best suited to their lifestyle.

Let us help you. We have a list of questions we ask you. We sit down and interview your family. We visit your home to see your family in action. In this way we can help you find the dog that is best suited for you. Do not make the mistake of thinking a breed is "cute" or what they heard were "nice dogs." Too many people fall for this way of thinking and it rarely works well for them.

Contact us for more information. We have specials on training for those who allow us to choose their new pet.
