PUPPY CLASS
BASIC CLASS
INTRODUCTION TO DOG SPORTS
Our puppy class places the focus on safe handling and socialization of your puppy. We teach you how to show your puppy that human hands are safe and good and nothing to be afraid of. Things you can expect to learn in puppy class are:
- The importance of trust between dog and owner and how to achieve that.
- Safe handling excercises
- Eye contact and beginning body language-the foundation for all other training.
Come learn how to communicate with your dog in a non verbal, non confrontational way. You will be amazed at the results
Classes will be held on Mondays beginning in April
Our Basic class sets the ground work for building a lasting, trusting relationship between you and your dog. With this you can accomplish anything. Once finished with Basic class you will be ready to move on to Advanced class and/or introduction to dog sports.
In basic obedience we teach you to communicate with your dog without using the leash to control them. In order to achieve this goal you must learn not to use leash or collar corrections, only your relationship with your dog will guide you.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays beginning in April
We will cover the basics in Agility, Rally and Obedience, in order to give owners an idea of which of these sports they and their dog might enjoy the most. In 6 lessons you will get to work at each of these sports.
Classes will be Thursdays in Flint, beginning in April and Sundays in Troy.
